![]() Once fully grown the quests are simply a means of A) getting players to roam around and encounter other dinos (for good or ill) and B) a means of buying new abilities and skins. There's even a server run by Paleontologists (no mods of course) which is cool. Official servers (which are often shit-fests) don't use passive growth but community servers do, or at least the 4 or 5 I have tried (testing various maps and mods) do have it. There's no shortage of dinos to play though and there are 3 variants of each, plus more dino types on servers using mods. :D Scent indicators would be nice, I agree. Hearing exists - it's called using decent speakers or headphones. What we are playing now is the demo version, and new features will be coming. ![]() You need to be better informed before criticising a game for not being a sim when it isn't intended to be a sim. ![]() There's a single-player dino survival-sim, (EDIT: had to look the name up, which is Saurian) but no multi-player survival simulation is on the market. The website says "Live as a dinosaur in Path of Titans, the MMO survival game" and is not selling it as a "realistic dino sim". It's not marketed as a "realistic" Dino sim, it's a survival game featuring dinosaurs. ![]()
